George Eichler joins the Net Lease Group as a Director, Capital Markets. Bringing with him over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate across brokerage, development, and capital markets. George’s main areas of expertise include build-to-suit, portfolio strategy, 1031 exchange advisory, and net lease investment sales and acquisitions.
Mr. Eichler began his career with Wells Real Estate Funds on the securities side of the industry. During his time at Wells, he was responsible for negotiating selling agreements with partner Broker/Dealers to sell shares of their private REIT. George helped raise over $3 billion as part of Wells’ initial REIT offering, which ultimately went public in 2007 and changed its name to Piedmont Office Realty Trust, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol PDM.
Mr. Eichler later joined Pattillo Construction Company, where he completed an intensive training program consisting of in-field construction, estimating, project management, property management, and accounting, which led into his role as sales and leasing agent for the Southeast’s largest private industrial developer.
George later went on to spend 18 years in commercial sales, leasing, and retail development at The Ramsbottom Company & Bruce Elliott & Associates, both boutique brokerage and development firms in Middle Georgia, where he led and closed over $125 million in projects.
George previously held the position of President of the Middle Georgia Association of Realtors [MGAR] and holds degrees in real estate and management from the University of Georgia’s, Terry College of Business.
Outside the office, George enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
